### Report on Special French Course Activity for the Second Semester of the 112th Academic Year
This photo album captures a special activity held on June 18, 2024, in the French course at The Affiliated High School of Tunghai University. The activity was a cross-cultural experience of making classic French cuisine, the French crepe, and a fusion of French and Taiwanese creative dishes. In this class, senior French teacher Mathieu guided students through learning how to order, converse, and prepare this delicious traditional French snack using the French language.
At the beginning of the class, students first learned basic French vocabulary and sentences related to the ingredients and quantities needed for cooking, as well as common phrases used when ordering food. The students then divided into groups to perform the hands-on activity, with teacher Mathieu demonstrating and guiding each step of making French crepes. From preparing the ingredients to mastering cooking techniques, Mathieu carefully instructed, enabling the first-year high school students to successfully complete each dish.
The entire process not only improved the students' communication skills in a French-speaking environment but also allowed them to experience the richness of French culture firsthand. Most importantly, the students enjoyed the delicious French crepes they made themselves and experimented with incorporating Taiwanese ingredients, adding more fun and creativity to the class.
