ESL 課程 English as a Second Language (ESL)

本校 ESL 班課程，每周提供 8-10 節 外籍教師全英文授課課程，內容包含：自然科學、社會科學、英文以及表演藝術。 學生除了學習台灣教育部頒定的中學課程，也能選擇國內外升學。

本校 ESL 課程不僅提升英語能力，更著重於培養 21 世紀核心技能，包括： 批判性思考、解決問題、創造力、團隊合作 等能力。

批判性思考能力 CRITICAL THINKING

批判性思考幫助我們分析世界，發展判斷能力、評估結果並決定下一步行動。在現代社會，資訊爆炸，人們需要具備篩選與分析資訊的能力，而非像電腦一樣被動接收所有訊息。

東大附中學生學習如何將自身經驗與學術知識結合，透過 時事閱讀、研究報告、自然科學實驗 等方式提升思辨能力。

解決問題能力 PROBLEM SOLVING

解決問題能力是面對世界挑戰的重要技能。
在東大附中，小班教學讓教師能夠針對學生需求調整指導方式，引導學生透過不同方法思考問題並勇於提問，而非只是死記硬背答案。
