Recently, the 8th-grade EEP Science Literacy Class (J2F) at The Affiliated High School of Tunghai University embarked on an engaging "Mobile Photography" micro-course led by teacher Clark Huang. This class not only introduced students to the wonders of photography but also delved into how to express and master photography skills using English, adding richness to their learning journey.

Before the start of the course, students first emphasized the importance of eye health through eye exercises. Using a recent school photography competition as a starting point, they were led to develop a strong interest in the world of photography, and personally, Mr. Huang hoped to further stimulate students' learning motivation.

Mr. Huang's teaching content covered important techniques and professional terms in the field of photography, including:

1. **Exposure**: Explained the importance of light in images and demonstrated the effects of underexposure or overexposure.

2. **Focus**: Guided students to ensure clear focus on the subject and avoid background interference.

3. **ISO**: Explained the impact of sensitivity on images and demonstrated how to adjust ISO under different lighting conditions.

4. **Shutter Speed**: Explained the importance of shutter speed in capturing dynamic images.

5. **Focal Length**: Introduced the impact of lens focal length on shooting effects, as well as the application of wide-angle and telephoto lenses.

6. **White Balance**: Demonstrated how to adjust white balance to adapt to different lighting environments.

7. **HDR (High Dynamic Range) **: Introduced the application of HDR technology to show richer image details.

Through communication with the teacher in both Chinese and English, students not only improved their photography skills but also strengthened their English communication abilities, cultivating their aesthetic literacy.

Mr. Huang hopes that the knowledge and skills taught in these courses will have a positive impact on students' future development.
