東大附中戶外教育精彩啟程J1：「牛耳藝術渡假村」探索車埕之美

Exciting Journey of Field Trip J1: Exploring the Beauty of Che-Cheng with "New Era Art Resort & SPA"
In the first semester of the 2023 Academic Year, The Affiliated High School of Tung Hai University introduced a unique ESL/EEP outdoor education activity aimed at integrating interdisciplinary teaching, fostering core learning in students, enhancing their appreciation for nature and culture, and developing a profound understanding and love for their hometown.
This extraordinary event took place on December 4, 2023, at the artistically rich " New Era Art Resort & SPA," providing 7th grade students enrolled in ESL and EEP courses with an educationally meaningful learning opportunity.
Despite unfavorable weather conditions, thanks to the flexible adaptation of the execution team, the activity proceeded smoothly and successfully. The program was diverse, including a guided tour of the park and foreign language challenges hosted by foreign teachers from the International Education Department. The challenges featured exciting English activities like Broom Ball, Obstacle Course Relay Sack Race, Three-legged Kickball Relay, and more. Simultaneously, through the exploration of Che-Cheng, students gained in-depth knowledge about their hometown, fostering interdisciplinary learning across environmental education, integrated studies, and language domains.
Special thanks to Director Ernest Chen and Teacher Clark Huang from the International Education Office for leading the administrative team and all the hardworking foreign teachers Tony, Clark, and David. They transformed this outdoor education journey into an unforgettable learning experience, guiding students into nature, allowing them to appreciate the beauty of Che-Cheng. This experience expands learning beyond the confines of the classroom, igniting students' passion for knowledge and embarking on an unforgettable learning journey.
東大附中在112學年度第1學期推出了別開生面的ESL/EEP戶外教育活動，旨在結合領域教學，培養學生核心學習，增進對自然和人文的關懷，並深刻認識、熱愛家鄉。
這場別開生面的活動於2023年12月4日登場，地點選在富有藝術氛圍的「牛耳藝術渡假村」，為修習ESL和EEP課程的國一學生提供了一個極具教育意義的學習機會。
儘管天氣狀況不佳，感謝執行團隊的靈活應變，讓活動順利圓滿。活動內容豐富多元，包括：園區導覽到由「國際教育處」外師們主持的外語闖關課程，涵蓋Broom Ball、Obstacle Course Relay Sack Race、Three-legged Kickball Relay等有趣的英文挑戰活動。同時，透過車埕之旅，學生將深入了解自己的家鄉，培養環境教育、綜合領域和語文領域的跨學科學習。
感謝國際教育處陳怡誠主任與黃鐦逸老師領導的行政團隊與所有辛苦的外語老師Tony、Clark、David團隊，讓這場戶外教育之旅成為一次難忘的學習體驗，引領學生進入大自然，感受車埕之美，讓學習不再侷限於教室，點燃學生對知識的熱情，開啟一段難忘的學習之旅。
