Exploration Journey from 6th Grade to 7th Grade of Junior High School of the 2024 Academic Year: Second Wave - "Running Towards English"
The Affiliated High School of Tung Hai University has organized a series of rich self-exploration activities for the 6th-grade students who are about to enter high school. The Second Wave of the "Language Experience Course" kicked off on the morning of December 16th at the Sports Field, thanks to the efforts of the administrative team led by Director Ernest, Teacher Clark Huang, Evelyn, and the dedicated Foreign Teachers Tony and Ryan. Special thanks to the administrative support from the Student Affairs Office and the General Affairs Office for ensuring the smooth and successful execution of this event.
This event is divided into four waves, with 120 students participating in each. The language course for the second wave, organized by the International Education Office, featured a challenging Soccer language experience course led by Tony and Ryan. In this unique activity, students not only learned English vocabulary such as soccer, goals, goalkeeper, jumping jacks, but also developed teamwork and improved cardiovascular fitness.
During the warm-up exercises, the teachers demonstrated rich creativity, making the entire activity livelier and more enjoyable. In the laughter and joy, students not only acquired English knowledge but also experienced physical fitness improvement.
In addition to the language courses, students also participated in other Chinese course experiences and various exploration activities. The campus was filled with laughter and a learning atmosphere, leaving the 6th graders with beautiful memories in this future learning paradise.
Thanks to the collective efforts of the entire school's faculty and students, this event was successfully organized. We look forward to the last wave of activities on next week continuing to inspire students' enthusiasm for learning. Gratitude to every teacher who participated in the event; their creativity and dedication made this exploration journey more memorable and opened up new horizons for students' learning.
東大附中113學年度小六升國一探索之旅：第二梯次【啟程英語學習的奔跑】
東海大學附屬高級中等學校為即將踏入國一的小六畢業生打造了一系列豐富的自我探索活動，其中第二梯次的「外語體驗課程」於112年12月16日上午展開，在東海大學的操場揭開序幕。在這充滿活力的一天裡，感謝「國際教育處」陳怡誠主任、黃鐦逸老師、Evelyn領導的行政團隊，以及辛勤的外語老師Tony和Ryan，更感謝「學務處」與「總務處」的行政支持，讓這次活動順利而圓滿。
系列探索活動共分四梯次，每個梯次有120名學生參與。第二梯次的外語課程活動由「國際教育處」策劃，由Tony和Ryan主持了獨具挑戰性的Soccer外語體驗課程。在這獨特的活動中，學生不僅學到了英語字彙，如：soccer(足球)、goals(球門)、goalkeeper (守門員)、jumping jacks(開合跳)等，還培養了團隊合作，同時鍛鍊了孩子們的心肺功能。
在暖身運動上，老師們展現了豐富的創意，使整個活動更加生動有趣。學生在歡笑聲中，不僅學到了英語知識，還獲得了體能的提升。
除了外語課程，學生還參與了中文課程體驗以及多元的探索活動。校園中彌漫著歡笑聲和學習的氛圍，小六生在這片未來的學習樂園中留下了美好的回憶。
