This April from the 9th to the 11th, The Affiliated High School of Tunghai University (THUHS) accommodated both the junior high as well as high school students from CSCW (Campus Sacre Coeur Wien) in Austria to our beautiful campus in Taichung City.
We invited them to join our cirriculums, including Fencing, Home Economics, Physical Education, a bipartisan music appreciation performance as well as a local cruising to the night markets.
We also taught our Austrian students how to make white carrot cakes and Taiwanese hamburgers, while our Austrian friends taught our students how to make traditional apple pie. By doing so, we learnt about not only some new cooking skills, but also the cuisine appreciation from different culture.
The event took place during Easter Holiday. so the teachers from CSCW prepared Easter eggs and held a treasure hunt game for the eggs. The students from CSCW played piano, violin, cello and vocal performance with our students.
Being fully immersed in the elegant melody. we look forward to the next congregation.
